Occupational Health and safety is looking into a workplace incident that injured a 22 year old man Tuesday in the McRae Industrial Park.
The Oilymitts Energy Group employee was reportedly helping to back up a tractor trailer unit when he was pinned between it and a parked vehicle. The man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries to his legs.
As he spent more than two days in hospital, OHS will be sending an investigator to file a report on the incident. Once the report is complete it will be more clear as to whether or not charges will be laid.
