New stops and routes are being added to Grande Prairie’s transit service today.
Changes have been made to routes 1, 2, and 5. Route 2 will now include service into Riverstone, Cobblestone, Signature Falls, and Creekside. Route 5 will be adding stops in Royal Oaks.
A new route has been added as well. Route 7 will replace the transit service the previously served Charles Spencer and St Joseph’s south east route. The new transit plan will connect the city’s south end, including O’Brien Lake, Country Side North, and the Community Knowledge Campus.
Transit Services Manager Jason Henry says the updated routes will cover parts of the city that were previously not being reached. Full details on the changes to Grande Prairie’s transit services can be found on the city’s website.
