Peace River MP Chris Warkentin has made another round of 150th anniversary infrastructure announcements, ahead of Stephen Harper’s expected campaign launch Sunday. $53,000 is going to renovate the Rycroft Agricultural Centre, including electrical and plumbing work, along with insulation and an HVAC system.
$37,500 will go to make part of the Cummings Lake Trail System in the Town of Fairview wheelchair accessible. Another $30,000 is for upgrades to the Lac Cardinal Hall in the MD of Peace, and $25,000 to install central air conditioning at the community hall in La Crete.
