RCMP are asking for the public’s help as they investigate an incident early Sunday morning where a gun is believed to have been fired at a home in Grimshaw.
Officers from the Peace Regional RCMP responded to reports of a shots fired around 6:30 a.m. on Sunday, September 17th. Mounties say they found evidence that a gun had been shot at a home in the 47 Avenue and 53 Street area.
“The investigation is still ongoing, and RCMP are requesting community members to review footage on their security systems, doorbell cameras or dash cams in this area around the time of the offence and to contact RCMP should you feel there is anything of value, such as vehicles driving by or suspicious persons,” says Constable Julie-Ann Strilaiff.
Police say they believe the incident was targeted and the public is not at risk. Anyone with information is asked to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
