Grande Prairie RCMP look for witnesses, dashcam footage in connection to hit and run

Grande Prairie RCMP is asking for the public to come forward with any dashcam footage from an alleged hit-and-run that happened in the city in late August.

Police say they received a report of a hit-and-run involving a pedestrian on August 29th in the area of 100 Avenue and 112 Street between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. An investigation has revealed the person was struck by the vehicle near Paradise Inn, and was transported to the hospital with multiple broken bones, but in stable condition.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, or has a dashcam and was in the area during the time of the hit-and-run is being urged to contact the Grande Prairie RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
