A power outage has plunged a large swatch of Grande Prairie into the dark Tuesday morning. According to the ATCO Electric outage map, more than 4,000 customers are without power as of 9:45 a.m., with the outage reported approximately an hour earlier on Tuesday morning.
The estimated time of restoration is around noon, and the cause of the outage is under investigation.
