Trail construction northwest of 108 Street and 100 Avenue is the start of the remaining work left to be done for the 2022 Trail Program.
The work, which is carried over from last year, includes installing a storm catch basin and drainage repairs, along with gravel and pavement installation.
Those who use the trail are being advised to pay attention to signage and use alternate routes when necessary. According to the city, drivers won’t be affected by the construction, which is expected to be completed by May 20th.
The construction started last August with the completed work said to enhance what the city called its “active transportation network.”
