Charges have been laid in two northern Alberta homicides.
27 year old William Alexis has been charged with first degree murder in connection with the stabbing death of a 39 year old male. The victim was found by Mayerthorpe RCMP injured in a home on the Alexis Sioux Nation Saturday night, and later died in hospital. An autopsy Monday confirmed his death was a homicide.
Up in Chateh, 28 year old Lance Schasees has been arrested and charged with the second degree murder of 33 year old Gary Brian Junior Didzena. He was murdered in High Level on June 11th.
