Grande Prairie RCMP are investigating a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian Saturday evening. Police say a 68 year old Edmonton woman was walking in a parking lot at 109 Street and 107a Avenue around 10:30 pm when a grey car backed onto the woman and remained there for several moments.
A witness intervened to let the driver know the woman was under the vehicle. She was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
RCMP say the 18 year old male driver has been issued several violation tickets in regards to the collision.
