A snowfall warning has been issued for much of the Grande Prairie area, with the expectation that 10 to 15 centimetres will fall overnight and into Wednesday.Â
After getting the go-ahead from the Government of Alberta, residents in Beaverlodge and the surrounding area will continue to have 24/7 care available at the new Mountview Health Complex.Â
After responding to reports of a serious traffic collision that saw a partial closure of Highway 43 near Range Road 113 on November 1st, the Beaverlodge RCMP has confirmed three deaths as a result of the crash.Â
RCMP believe there may be more victims of two men who are facing charges in connection to a sexual assault investigation, with the incidents alleged to have taken place between August and December of 2024.Â
Camping in the county is set to kick off in time for the Victoria Day long weekend, with County of Grande Prairie officials highlighting some of the improvement work done over the off-season.Â
Construction is set to start on the Maskwa Medical Centre here in the new future, with groundbreaking on the facility set for next week on the land located next to the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital.Â
