Street sweepers are operating throughout the County of Grande Prairie, with a focus on the neighbourhoods of Wedgewood, Taylor Estates, and Maple Ridge in the coming days.Â
The County of Grande Prairie has issued a fire advisory for the entire county, including the towns of Beaverlodge, Sexsmith, and Wembley, effective April 15th, until further notice.Â
An extreme cold warning has been issued for much of the Grande Prairie region, with the expectation that temperatures could fall as low as minus 45 overnight.Â
