A trio of light earthquake have been recorded in the Grande Prairie region. The first, according to Earthquakes Canada, was recorded 41 km south of Grande Prairie shortly before 2 a.m. on Tuesday and was registered as a 2.3 on the Richter scale.
The other two were recorded shortly after 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, at 57 and 55 kilometres west of Fox Creek. The two tremors registered both registered 3.0 in magnitude.
