Two people are facing several charges after a lengthy Peace Regional RCMP investigation into alleged drug trafficking in Grimshaw.
Mounties say they executed a search warrant on a property in the town on December 13th, and as a result seized 97 grams of suspected cocaine, an unknown amount of what is believed to be heroin, as well as over $6,000 in cash, and multiple guns.
61-year-old Randall Lloyd Fischer, and 33-year-old Brett Thibault, both of Grimshaw, have been charged with, among other things, possession of a controlled substance with the intent to traffick, and unauthorized possession of a firearm.
Both will next appear in court in Peace River on January 13th, 2020.
