A 43 year old man believed to be responsible for an armed robbery in Grande Prairie Monday has been arrested.
Around 6:30 a.m. on January 19th, a man stole merchandise from a south side grocery store, and when he was confronted by a store employee, he reportedly assaulted them and pointed a handgun at them.
The suspect may have then fled in a 2005 blue Jetta Volkswagon.
A warrant was issued for Garret Snell, who was found around 4 a.m. Wednesday at a home in Wembley.
The home is well known to police and Snell is now facing a number of weapons and theft related charges.
