Two Peace country communities have been selected to host provincial hockey championships next spring.
Sexsmith has been tapped for the Peewee B tournament, while the Midget D competition will be held in Beaverlodge, with the possibility of some games in Hythe as well.
Both Hockey Alberta provincials will be held March 19th the 22nd, 2015.
There are still some locations that haven’t been announced that Grande Prairie area teams have their eyes on.
A girls tournament scheduled for boxing week has been cancelled, but the Grande Prairie Panthers and the County of GP JDA Kings say to look out for an announcement surrounding provincials soon.
