Grande Prairie Storm hire new coach and GM

The Grande Prairie Storm have found their new coach and GM.

Kevin Higo brings an impressive resume to the Swan City, including a National Junior A title in 2000 as an assistant coach with Fort McMurray.

He then spent parts of three seasons as head coach of the Oil Barons, before moving on to Brooks, where he was named AJHL coach of the year in 2005.

Higo, who also has assistant coach experience at the major junior level, replaces Matt Hughes, who was let go by the club back on May 2nd.
