The Rotary Club of Grande Prairie’s Cash and Camping Early Bird Draw took place Friday. $15,000 in cash was drawn for with six winners overall. Dwayne and Helen Scorgie of Beaverlodge took the winnings of $10,000.
The sales cut off for the final draw will be July 4th at 7 p.m. with the final draw happening on July 6th. It includes prizes like the 2017 Superbowl valued at over $25,000, along with camping and barbecue packages.
All proceeds from the lottery fundraiser will go to 12 different non-profit groups around the community including the Camp Tamarack Association and the Peace Area Riding for the Disabled Society.
