Pregnancy Care Centre offering support to NWT evacuees

The Pregnancy Care Centre is offering its support to new and expecting families forced from their homes in the Northwest Territories. The organization says it can help evacuees get access to diapers, baby clothes, or formula or can even be a safe place to talk. Services can be accessed from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Thursday, while support from Friday to Sunday or outside of business hours can be accessed through the Option Hotline at 780-533-2532.

NWT evacuees are also being advised the Reception Centre at the Alliance Church has also moved and is now at the gymnasium at the south entrance of the building. On Friday, the Grande Prairie Regional Emergency Partnership changed the reception centres hours, with it now being open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
