WPCA tarp auction sales down for Stompede

After setting a record last year, Stompede tarp auction numbers for the WPCA circuit have gone down over 20 percent this year. Auctions were held last night, with 240,750 dollars in sales recorded for Stompede. That is down almost 65 thousand from last year. The top selling wagon was Jason Glass, who’s tarp sold for 21 thousand. Almost 220 thousand in WPCA tarp sales were recorded for Dawson Creek’s “Battle of the North” races. A pair of WCA tarp auctions go later this week – with the Guitars and Wagons event being held Thursday, and the Stompede auction set for Friday night, both at the Pomeroy Inn.
