The Alberta Urban Municipalities Association is offering up their congratulation to Rachel Notley and her new NDP government.
Three priorities that have been outlined by the AUMA include implementing revenue options that create a consistent and stable tax environment, investing in municipal infrastructure, and creating a Municipal Government that allows for more effective local decision making.
President Helen Rice says she looks forward to meeting and working with Premier Elect Rachel Notley, and thanks Jim Prentice for his time as Premier.
