Fort St. John RCMP is looking into a report of a shot fired at a motel.
Police got the the call just before 3 a.m. Tuesday morning, and found blood and broken glass at the scene.
A victim wasn’t located until later, and it turns out they had sustained only superficial injuries not related to a gun shot.
It’s believed this was a targeted attack as the victim is known to police and is not cooperating with their investigation.
Officers have also not been able to connect information about a number of people and vehicles around the motel at the time.
