Alberta Health Services is launching a new program from Peace Region stroke survivors and their caregivers.
Stroke experts will be running the eight week workshop which will physical changes and challenges that arise after a stroke, how to maintain nutrition, cognition, and perception, and how strokes can affect emotions, activities, and relationships.
The workshops will be every Thursday morning for two hours from May 7 to June 25.
If you’d like to register you can do so through the QEII Hospital’s Rehabilitation Department until April 30.
