GP man gets two years for ramming police cruiser

A Grande Prairie man has been handed down a two year sentence for fleeing a traffic stop and ramming a police vehicle with an officer inside.

22 year old Andrew Pike was pulled over near Stony Plain on March 8th, but then drove at the sheriff and sped off.

When his vehicle was found near Spruce Grove, Pike reportedly rammed an RCMP cruiser, only stopping after an officer fired his gun.

It turns out the vehicle he was driving had been stolen from Grande Prairie.
