The Nitehawk Recreation Area will be celebrating the ski season’s end in slushy style again this weekend.
Skiers and snowboarders can take part in Slush Cup on Sunday.
Assistant General Manager Johnathan Clarkson says the event gets better and more challenging for the competitors every year.
“Every year it surprises me, we have to continue to grow the pond because the kids are getting better and better. It blows my mind actually. We started off with about a 50 ft pond originally and now we’re at 110 ft.”

Registration is $5 a person and gets started at 11 am on Sunday.
The competition starts at 1 pm with the winner taking home a season pass for next winter.
