The County of Grande Prairie is making its road ban effective around the clock. Starting this Saturday at 10 a.m., all gravel roads in the County will be at 75 per cent axle weight 24 hours a day until further notice.
A road ban remains in the City of Grande Prairie as well, 50 per cent axle weight 24 hours a day. Road bans are used to protect vulnerable roads during the spring thaw.
