GPRC Wolves hosting volleyball provincials this weekend

The GPRC Wolves volleyball team hopes home court will be to their benefit this weekend.
The club is hosting the Ernie’s Sports Experts/ACAC provincials this weekend, with eight teams competing for two spots at Nationals in Toronto.
GPRC Athletic Director Francois Fournier says the women have had a strong season, and have a good shot of earning one of those two national spots.
“We have some really good experience on the team and as a result of that, there’s just that calmness that comes down that I really do like, so they get out there and they just play the game, and they’ve been playing very well.”
Action begins at 1 p.m. Friday at GPRC Gymnasium.
The gold medal final is set for Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m.
