Warm winter weather sets records in Grande Prairie

Winter conditions have returned to Grande Prairie, but two warm weather records have been set in the past two days.

On Sunday, it reached a high of seven degrees, unofficially passing the previous record of 5.9 degrees, set in 2009.

Then on Monday, the Swan City got 8.2 millimetres of rain.

That bested the six millimetres in Grande Prairie on January 26th in 2003.
