MLA Allard named chair of Northern Alberta Development Council

Grande Prairie MLA Tracy Allard has been named the new chair of the Northern Alberta Development Council. Allard says she is thrilled to be named to the position and believes her work before becoming the local representitive will help her seamlessly fit into the role.

“My background is entrepreneurial and I am a very proud Northerner. I am excited to lead the Council to support and foster further development in Northern Alberta.”

“I believe that Northern Alberta will continue to lead our province in economic recovery,” she adds.

The NADC is made up of a group of provincial and municipal leaders in an attempt to produce regional development information, supporting education and skills enhancement programs.

Allard will remain chair for a two-year term.
