Children’s Foot Parade and Halloween Costume Contest set for October 26th

A day of safe, family-friendly Halloween activities has been announced by the Grande Prairie Downtown Association and Phillip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum.

Starting at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 26th with the Halloween Foot Parade and Costume Contest, which will see youngsters parade through the downtown core, showing off their spooky costumes, and perhaps pick up some extra Halloween goodies from local shop owners.

The first half of the day will end with a Halloween Party at the Montrose Cultural Centre with hot dogs, cookies and juice.

If you’re up for even more Halloween based fun, the Phillip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum will then be offering up a costume contest, along with fossil tables, a free gallery, and a ‘creepy-crawly lecture.’
