A driver is facing charges after he fled the scene of a crash with an RCMP vehicle.
The collision occurred around 2:30 a.m. Sunday morning at 108th Avenue and Resources Road.
RCMP says the driver of a pick up appears to have run a red light and hit the police cruiser in the intersection.
They then fled on foot but were found and arrested without incident shortly.
A 47 year old man from Grande Prairie is looking at a charge of failing to remain at the scene but may face more as the crash is still under investigation.
The officer involved was not injured.
