Accused drug traffickers plead guilty to lesser charges

Two men on trial for drug trafficking this week in Grande Prairie have plead guilty to lesser charges.

Shane Berlinski has received a $2,000 fine for pleading guilty to possession of a substance no more than three kilograms, while Tyler Robideau also plead guilty to possession greater than 30 grams and received a $750 fine.

The men were charged in 2012, along with Trevor Stojan, after two marijuana grow ops were busted, and other drugs found during several investigations in 2010 and 2011.

Stojan’s case has been adjourned to January while he finds a new lawyer.
