Railway crossing lights on when train hit truck

No injuries have been reported after a collision between a vehicle and a train this afternoon.

Police say the GMC truck was heading westbound on 108th Avenue when it couldn’t get across the railroad tracks.

The oncoming southbound train couldn’t stop in town and hit the front of the truck, pushing it off the tracks.

The train stopped approximately 200 metres ahead of the crossing at 98th Street.
