Albertans flock to the polls on first day of advance voting

It seems voters across the province are eager to cast their ballot in the 2019 election. Elections Alberta says approximately 140,000 votes were cast on the first day of advance polls.

If the trend were to continue at the pace set on day one, it should shatter the all-time advance poll numbers set in 2015 when 235,000 ballots were counted over a five-day span.

If you want to get your vote in early, you can head to a polling station in your riding until April 13th.
