Transit will be free again this year for people going to and from the Grande Prairie Stompede. City council members voted to keep the free service going after the city says it saw success during the project in 2018.
City officials say 650 people used the free service last year. This year, the bus will leave from the Towne Centre Mall every half an hour on its way to Evergreen Park. Shuttle service will run from May 31st to June 2nd.
