If you leave your vehicle unlocked or with valuables inside, you’re making it an enticing target for thieves.
That’s the message from Grande Prairie RCMP, who says they’ve heard of more than 30 thefts of vehicles or thefts from vehicles since Friday.
In many cases, the suspects simply took advantage of an unlocked and sometimes running vehicle.
Police ask that you make sure to lock up, and not leave any valuables or loose change inside.
