Investigation into Evergreen Park campground shooting continues

More than five months after a shooting at the Evergreen Park campground, Grande Prairie RCMP is still looking into the case. A 62-year-old man was shot just before 6 a.m. on August 14th, and was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Early on in their investigation, police said a dark-coloured truck was noticed in the area at the time. They have again asked the public for help identifying its owner.

Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to contact the RCMP detachment or Crime Stoppers. Mounties originally say it was not believed to have been a random act.
