Arrest made in 100 Street stabbing

An arrest has been made in a recent stabbing investigation. Grande Prairie RCMP says it got a call around 2 a.m. on December 18th that the suspect was at a home on the east side of town.

“Police would like to thank those people that came forward with information regarding this incident,” says Constable Melanie McIntosh.

A man was seriously injured when he was stabbed in the area of 100 Street and 93 Avenue the night of December 15th. Police publicly released photos of the man accused of attacking him, saying there was no obvious reason.

30-year-old Alexzyander Arthur Ghostkeeper has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. He remains in custody and will be back in court on January 9, 2019.
