A piece of stolen equipment has been recovered after it was spotted in a local sales ad.
The direction drilling location system worth $50,000 was taken out of a company vehicle parked outside a business in the city’s west industrial park two weekends ago.
An employee spotted it for sale and reported it to police.
A 34 year old Grande Prairie man is now facing several charges, including Possession of Stolen Property over $5,000.
His name has not been released.
He remains in custody awaiting a bail heading
