Quebecor is selling its English-language Sun Media publications to Postmedia.
Several Peace Country dailies and weeklies are affected by the sale, including Grande Prairie’s Daily Herald Tribune, the Peace River Record-Gazette, the Fairview Post, and Whitecourt Star.
It’s a $316 million deal, subject to approval by the Competition Bureau.
