The county has secured a sponsor for the naming rights of am outdoor soccer field at the Crosslink County Sportsplex.
Overland Transport is based in the Grande Prairie region, and spent $18,000 on the sponsorship.
They will hold name rights for one of the large outdoor full-sized soccer pitches at the sportsplex for the next 3 years.
Overland Transport Manager Lyle Toews says the company strives to promote active, healthy, and social lifestyles, and wanted to be a part of a facility that provides opportunities for that.
Reeve Leanne Beaupre says it is reassuring to see local businesses coming forward and supporting sports and recreation, as well as the health and quality of life for area residents.
