Teens charged with Canfor Road assault and robbery

Two teens have been arrested in connection with an assault and robbery on the Canfor Road. Around 1 a.m. on September 29th, two other teen boys were parked at kilometre 17.5 when it’s alleged a white Ford truck drove up.

Grande Prairie RCMP previously said two men got out of the truck and approached the boys with what looked like guns. It’s reported they then threatened and assaulted them before stealing their vehicle.

Both the stolen vehicle and the suspect vehicle were later found by police. RCMP say two boys aged 14 and 16 were arrested last week and are facing numerous assault, robbery, and firearms offences.

The charges include robbery with a firearm, assault with a weapon, aggravated assault, uttering threats, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, pointing a firearm, careless use of a firearm, unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle, theft of motor vehicle, possession of property obtained by crime over $5000, forcible confinement, and failing to comply with conditions.
