The Fieldhouse at the Eastlink Centre will be closed Friday and Saturday for a volleyball tournament.
The tournament will bring over 100 teams to Grande Prairie this weekend. Dryland Sports and Event Logistics Supervisor Tracie Gillis says she is excited to be able to host the event here.
“As the largest volleyball event in the Peace Country, this tournament will be an awesome way to showcase our facility and the local volleyball talent among our junior and senior high students in the region. We are proud to be picked as one of the event’s host venues.”
To accommodate the tournament, the Fieldhouse will be closed starting at 3 p.m. on Friday and open back up again on Sunday.
All public drop-in programs at the Fieldhouse will resume on September 23.
