The call is out once again for nominations of the 2014 Volunteer of the Year.
The Grande Prairie Volunteer services bureau has been handing out the awards for 7 years now, the the corporate volunteer award was new last year.
Executive Director Carol Anne Pasemko says they want to recognize those volunteers that work hard to make a difference.
“We’re looking for somebody who has gone out of their way, or has dedicated them self to a particular project or function or whatever that they have done. A situation where something would not have happened without their input.”
Nominations can be made at volunteergp.com, and must be in by November 15.
The awards will be handed out on December 5, which is International Volunteer Day.
