Grande Prairie RCMP are asking for information from the public about an aggravated assault that happened in front of a hotel in Gateway early this morning.
Police were called to 107 Ave and 108 Street around 2 am, where they found a 23 year old man on the ground with a stab wound.
The man was taken to hospital for treatment, but police were not able to find the suspect.
Police are still investigating, and are asking anyone who may have seen something to contact the local detachment or Crimestoppers.
