Evergreen Park will put on their last horse racing event of the summer on Sunday, with a special salute to the city’s 100 Anniversary.
Councillor Helen Rice says the city has tried to plan lots of interesting and diverse activities, and the Centennial Stakes is also an excellent showcase of the region.
“This ties in very well, we’ve worked closely with Evergreen Park and they’re certainly going out of their way to make this a really interesting and exciting day at the races.”
The Centennial Stakes take place at the track at Evergreen Park, and get started at 1 pm on Sunday.
