A trial will be held in the case of the homicide of a 35 year old woman from Sexsmith last December.
34 year old Christopher Berguson is charged with second degree murder and possession of a firearm contrary to a prohibition order.
He was ordered to stand trial at a preliminary hearing Tuesday.
The woman, whose name is protected by a publication ban, was found dead in a Sexsmith home on December 6, 2013.
It’s believed the two were in a relationship at the time. A trial date has not yet been set.
