Shoplifting arrest turns into drug and weapons charges

A Grande Prairie man is facing 22 drug and weapons charges after allegedly shoplifting from a grocery store in Beaverlodge.

On Friday, he and another woman were arrested on the bypass in a vehicle that matched the description given to police.

It turns out the suspect also had cash, suspected illegal drugs, and prohibited weapons on him.

39 year old Robert Fulk is now in police custody facing possession and trafficking offences.

The female was released without charges.
