Team Gushue is still the best in Canada. The curling rink with lead Geoff Walker of Beaverlodge and Grande Prairie’s Tom Sallows as fifth beat Alberta’s Brendan Bottcher 6-4 in the final Sunday night.

It is the second win in a row for the team, as skip Brad Gushue lead them to their first Brier title in 2017. They’re the first team to win back-to-back Briers since Kevin Martin in 2008 and 2009.
YEAH!!!!!! BACK TO BACK! We did it!!! Thank you all!!!! #Brier2018

As Team Canada, they will compete at the World Men’s Curling Championship in Las Vegas at the end of the month. They were golden at that tournament last year as well.
What a moment. Once again, @TeamGushue stopped mid-ice to acknowledge the crowd during their victory walk #Brier2018 pic.twitter.com/NZ96k7S2ft
