Storm to retire Dustin Sather's #33

Before the Grande Prairie Storm hit the ice for their second regular season game next month, a former player will have his number retired.

Dustin Sather’s #33 will be hoisted to the rafters of Revolution Place on Saturday, September 6th. Sather played for the Storm from 2002 to 2007 before moving on to the University of Alaska Fairbanks, and holds several team records.

He’ll be the third player in team history to have his number retired. He joins #2 Mike Mohr and #11 Mike Lefley.

A game versus the Bonnyvill Pontiacs will follow.
