Three men have been arrested by Whitecourt RCMP after a shooting in the early hours of December 24. Police say they responded to a local business where they say a shot was fired from a moving vehicle. The bullet went through the windows and lodged into the wall, narrowly missing people inside.
RCMP say on December 31 they arrested 22 year-old Tyler James Fundak along with 22 year-old Devin Blake Bowen. Both are facing a total of five charges including possession of a shotgun without a license and use of a firearm in a careless manner. The pair are set to appear in court January 9. Fundak remains in custody while Bowen has been released.
A third man is facing the same five charges but his name cannot be release until charges are sworn before a Justice of the Peace.
Anyone with information that could help with the investigation is asked to contact the RCMP.
